Using a Healthy Recipe You Can Eat Healthy

Football Season is going strong and with the season come the parties. There are a lot of people that don't like football, but most of them enjoy the parties that go on this time of year. There is a lot of eating taking place at these parties. You can use a healthy recipe to make healthy meals and eat healthy. You can have your family and friends eat healthy, by preparing healthy meals using a healthy recipe, or you can put out the usual snacks and make food that puts healthy eating right out of the game. If your friends and family isn't an active crowd, they don't need to have unhealthy snacks and meals that don't let them eat healthy and control their weight management.

You can enjoy the football parties and still eat healthy. Don't let your eating habits at these parties make you so heavy, your friends start asking you to give their favorite team a helping hand on the field. There is a healthy alternative; you can prepare healthy meals and snacks. You can turn these football parties on Sunday into a day of great fun packed full of activity and all why you push an agenda of good healthy meals that aren't full of fat!

Barbeques aren't only fun but they allow you to cook healthy meals. Do things differently, change the way you grill your food. Find a healthy recipe for making chicken or fish, BBQ vegetables and think about veggie burgers. Hot dogs don't have to be so bad for you, for instance, they don't have to be packed with preservatives, nitrates and sodium. Are you one of the people who can't tell the difference between turkey or beef hot dogs? If you can does what type they are matter to you, really? You can use a healthy recipe for hot dogs by using whole grain mustard and Sauerkraut when you prepare them. You friends and family will eat healthy and never know anything was different. You would probably have to tell them; they just had a healthy meal.

On these football Sundays there are a lot of people who would rather go out to a bar or sports club, instead of staying home. When you go out, you can still eat healthy. Read the menu more carefully, just because you're in a bar, it doesn't mean they don't have healthy alternatives to the usual items on most traditional menus. When you're in your favorite bar or club, sure they have the traditional snacks and finger foods, resist the urge to have Chicken wings drowned in sauces and dunked in blue cheese. Stay away from fried foods, remember chicken tenders are a better choice and use the sauces sparingly. Look closely at their menu, most clubs and bars have healthy alternatives to the usual high in fat low in nutrition snacks and finger foods. Look on their menu and see if they have whole grain tortilla chips and fresh salsa. These are high in fiber low in calories and will make you feel fuller, longer. Most bars and clubs always have fresh vegetables. See if they have Bea n dips or hummus. If you pay attention to these few simple rules you'll use a healthy recipe and instead of the poor traditional snacks and finger foods, you'll eat healthy. Remember to stay away from fried foods and have baked instead.

On Game Day, do you ever have the party at your house?Why not let your family and friends eat healthy? Take your time and find a healthy recipe, healthy meals don't take any more time to prepare than poor or unhealthy meals do. Don't put out the traditional fried potato chips and who knows what's in those puffs? It isn't hard to find a baked version of those snacks. Fresh salsa and veggies put into a potato skin and a little quacamole on the side, watch out coming through! Use whole grain chips with hummus or bean dip. Fresh salsa is full of anti-oxidants. Make a huge fresh salad and put it out instead of friend finger foods. Coleslaw and Macaroni salad are filling and go great with lot vegetables. My friend makes a great tasting chili and he uses turkey meat instead of hamburger. It's packed full of beans and onions and he throws in carrots, bell peppers and chili's. He uses a healthy recipe packed with anti-oxidants and has energy to burn. Your friends and family will ea t healthy and probably never know you provided them with healthy meals.

Are you going to a friend's house for the party?

It's somebody else's turn to have the party at their house, hooray they get to clean up after it's over. Maybe now you'll get to see some of the game, while they make sure you have what you need to be happy. Remember to have the party at your house when it's a team you don't care about, because you won't see much when you're the host with the most. Your family and friends do see the effort and the quality preparation you make for the party, but like usual will probably never say anything about it to you! But believe me when I say this; when friends, and husbands and wives are talking between themselves about the good or bad food and snacks at the party, and they will. How do you want the conversation to go?

If you give the party first, you get to set the standard. You'll be surprised and please to find out how much people do pay attention to the quality of your hard work and preparation. Remember being copied is the highest form of flattery there is and if you do a good job, I guarantee you'll see a lot of the same preparations and foods that were at your great party. For your own diet and safety of having a healthy meal, when you go to a friend's house take your own snacks with you. Fruit and nuts are always a great snack and especially almonds. Take a few vegetables with you like carrots, olives and celery. Set a good example and your friends will copy you. Watch out for the traditional drinks that are usually at these parties. Mixers, beer, soda and juices are all full of carbohydrates and a little goes a long ways, later turning into fat. Water is the best drink for you and the more you drink of it and the less of the other stuff, the more you'll enjoy the game and the be tter the choices about what you eat will be.
