KFC, originally Kentucky Fried Chicken, is a household name for many of us. When we were children, we may have believed that all good chicken came in a bucket! And we certainly would never go hungry with a bucket of chicken. And the side dishes, of course, are second to none. For years, KFC has served up delicious side dishes, including whipped mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw, and biscuits. Everything comes perfectly packed in a Styrofoam container, creating an instant picnic. It's no wonder kids love it. Imagine being able to whip up a KFC meal in your own home!
Colonel Harland Sanders created his special blend of 11 herbs and spices more than 50 years ago when he opened up the first Kentucky Fried Chicken in Corbin, Kentucky. Today that one restaurant has multiplied, with more than 36,000 locations throughout the United States and--well--the rest of the world.
