Zucchini Bread Recipes - Food - Recipes

I know it's sound's like yucky health food but the zucchini bread is nothing like it. usually they are very moist and feels like Banana Bread But Only better.I found a lot of variation of the zucchini bread but as you already understood i'm baking them my self befor reccomanding them for you. i will updated this Lens every time i'll find a great Zucchini Bread Recipe.

Zucchini Bread RecipeI really enjoyed this bread,Fantastic! Nice and moist, i left out the nuts and used a 3/4 C less sugar. great texture.

Ingredients- 2 1/2 cups sugar- 3 eggs- 3 cups flour- 3 teaspoons vanilla- 1 cup oil- 2 cups zucchini, grated- 1/4 teaspoon salt- 1 teaspoon baking soda- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder- 1 cup nuts (optional)- 3 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions- Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.- Combine all ingredients.- Pour into two greased loaf pans.- Bake for one hour.

Ingredients- 3 eggs- 2 cups sugar- 1/4 cup canola oil- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract- 1 1/2 cups cornstarch- 3/4 cup rice flour- 3/4 cup tapioca flour- 1 tablespoon xanthenes gum- 1 tablespoon cinnamon- 1 tablespoon baking powder- 1 teaspoon baking soda- 2 cups fresh zucchini, grated- 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Directions- Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.- Beat the eggs until foamy, adding sugar, oil, and applesauce (use wire whip attachment for mixer).- In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients and then add them to the egg mixture- Switch to the flat beater or dough hook attachment and beat in electric mixer for about 3 minutes or until batter is mixed well and becomes verythick then Add nuts.- Grease two large loaf pans and fill each 1/2 full.- Bake for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes till the middle is cooked through.- If your oven cooks the tops of these loaves too quickly, Cover with aluminum foil to prevent burning (after about 25-35 minutes).- If you want to use this as breakfast bread, you can sprinkle the tops with Confectioner's sugar.

Directions- Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.- Whisk together white flour, wheat flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and salt.- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.- Add the sugar, oil, applesauce, and mashed bananas to the eggs; mix well an Add the vanilla.- Combine the wet and dry mixtures. Stir until just combined.- Fold in the zucchini and raisins.- Pour into 2 lightly greased loaf pans (9x5-inch).- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.

You can eat a complete meal and end up not having adequate nutrients in any of the foods because of how you cooked. The major types of cooking that will burn away the vitamins include frying, boiling, saute methods and microwave. It is important to consider these methods before deciding on how you will cook your food.

One of the better methods used in preserving the nutrients in food is steaming. Steaming will actually preserve the vitamins and minerals that are in it. Because you don't have to add any oils or fats, it can also help you with taking away things that you don't need. A medium sized fish takes only 10 minutes of steaming time. It can be really that fast.

Boiling is also another healthy cooking method. However, do not overboil vegetables as this will kill all the nutrients and enzymes in them. If you need cooked vegetables, boil the water first. In boiling water, put your vegetables in for about 3 minutes. For some taste, you can always make a sauce to pour over the boiled vegetables.

Another thing that you should consider when cooking is what you are putting into the foods while they are on the stove. For example, adding extra salt can lead to a change in your blood pressure over time that isn't necessarily healthy. In relation to this, you should stay away form flavors and ingredients that have high sodium or fat as part of the recipe. Use the healthier sea salt if you really need to.

All of the foods that you eat should be balanced with raw fruits and vegetables. Having these on hand will help in adding to nutritious value in your diet. Adding a salad or different fruits is always important to your meals.

Easy Pork Chop Recipe -Southern Style Smoothered Pork Chops - Food

This easy pork chop recipe is a southern favorite. The pork chops are covered in thinly sliced onions and gravy, and simmered to a flavorful finish.

Choose a thicker sliced pork chop that is an even thickness throughout. Chops that are an even thickness will cook evenly with less drying.

Start the chop at a high heat to brown quickly, then finish at lower heat on the stove in the gravy. This produces a more tender and juicy chop.

Watch your heat and do not overcook. Overcooking will cause the chops to dry out. Serve this with a nice bread or biscuit to soak up the extra gravy or over rice. Excellent!

Easy Smoothered Pork Chops

1 Tablespoon Oil2 Tablespoons Butter 2 Tablespoons flour2 cups broth, beef, chicken or a combination of the two4 bone in pork chops, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick2 medium yellow onions, sliced thin2 garlic cloves, minced (2 teaspoons)1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaved, minced2 bay leaves1 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced2 tablespoons watersalt and black pepper

1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season the pork chops with pepper.2. Brown the pork chops in the oil, turn and brown the second size. When brown, transfer to a platter and set aside.3. Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter and onions and a little salt. Cook for about 5 minutes until the onions are softened and browned. 4. Add the flour and cook, stirring until the flour is lightly browned.5. Stir in the minced garlic and thyme and cook for a few seconds until fragrant. 6. Increase the heat to medium high. Add the broth slowly, whisking until well mixed. Add the bay leaves. Bring to a boil. Scrape the bottom of the skillet to loosen any brown bits on the bottom of the pan.7. Return the chops to the skillet and cover them with the onion gravy. 8. Reduce the heat again to low and simmer until the pork is tender and done, about 30 minutes. 9. Remove the chops to a platter and cover with foil to keep warm. Increase the heat to medium high and cook the gravy rapidly until the sauce is reduced to a gravy thickness. Remove the bay leaves. Add the parsley. Adjust seasonings if needed with salt and pepper. 10. Pour the gravy over the chops and serve.

How Healthy Dieting Helped me Lose 37 Pounds in Twelve Weeks - Health - Fitness

Ok, I am not a strict dieter and honestly speaking not a great disciplined life leader. But, when it was the matter of that belly fat, I got really serious. I had always wanted to look great and to prove to others 'I am fit not fat'. So, I started with some health dieting and I believe if any one follows this, he is going to see some tremendous results.

If you love cooking you have an advantage if you can get yourself motivated for making health food. I did the same. Low fat mayonnaise is my favorite so I combined one teaspoon of Dijon mustard or satay sauce and some low fat yogurt. It was one of the fantastic healthy foods.

Try never to skip meals even though some moron dieter tells you do so. Take stuffed vegetables like capsicum and zucchinin along with some flavored fillings or minced chicken, white meat or fish for your lunch or dinner. They are healthy food and contain low fat. Pita bread roll ups or salad filling rolls are also great. Alfalfa or mung beans, if added to salad will help you get extra iron.

One thing you have to be careful about if you are serious about weight loss is how your body's metabolism reacts to what are your day to day eating schedules. Changing an eating pattern also affects it. If you just waken up your metabolism is at peak levels and slows down after about 8 hours, so 30 minutes of exercise before dinner is great. What it will do is increase the metabolism for about two to three hours and will greatly help in burning the fat even hours after the work out is over.

One thing that you should continue for ever is to learn a lot about healthy recipes. There are many and honestly speaking you'll never get bored with the same healthy food if you are a little smart in replacing it from time to time. Remember, good cooking and healthy eating are two habits that you are going to benefit from n the long term.

It won't hurt to know what family favorite recipes are there and how to make them. Fats, salt and sugar are supposed to be cut out. Non-fat yogurt is a good replacement for cream and herbs and spices for salts.

I talked a lot about weight loss programs and what kind of workout programs to try with my doctor and other fitness experts. Honestly speaking those were more demanding than I was willing to do. So, I bought a home treadmill and religiously use it still for half an hour. I agree that's not a lot but even small steps make big differences, at least they did for me. One thing more I learnt was how to do body weight training and I tried some simple workouts on a simple mat. The experience was great and results almost immediate.

Having said that, there is a lot more you can do like to keep care of the way you eat and chew bite during meals. If you are a slow eater and chewer, you are at advantage as it ends to reduce your appetite. Also try to compete three small meals and two snacks everyday instead of one or two huge meals. If you take these precautions coupled with the healthy eating and workout programs, you will see results faster than you can imagine.

Recently I've been on a new weight loss mission to counteract the damage that I have done to my body for the last two years. I've been eating pure junk food and candy mixed with tons of beer and a little, I mean very little exercise for the last 24 months. Now I have not always been like this, it is actually a complete 180 from who and what I used to be. Why did I let it happen? I have no clue. Why after two years do I want to change? Because I woke up and I'm sick of what I see in the mirror.

I am not that big, but for my height I'm about 30 pounds overweight. Which I decided was 25 pounds to much for me. So after taking a good long look at myself nude in the mirror, I asked myself "What is my problem", "why am I doing this to myself"? I thought long and hard about those questions for a couple weeks and still a month and a half later, I had no answer. The only real reason I'm doing this to myself is because I'm lazy, unmotivated, and bored. However I chose to look at the situation there was only one answer. I needed to do something about it.

I got off the couch and started walking, started to do some simple exercises which motivated me to do a few more. I was definitely feeling a little better about myself but I still was not losing any wait. I was still grabbing the quick bites at fast food joints and loving every bite of my pizza. Another realization kicked in as I was taking down my second slice of 18" delicious New York style pizza. I am not the same person I was two years ago, I'm not at the gym for at least a hour a day any more, I can not be eating this pizza!.

That's the moment my mentality changed. I knew what my problem was now! It was the same problem I've always had to help me through my tough times. Food. I love food! I love cheese and hamburgers, pizza covered in meat, Deli subs, yummy, yummy food! Well I found my problem now it was time for me to fix it.

I first started out just trying to control my own cravings. That didn't work for me. Then I tried a few diets out of magazine's, but I just couldn't keep with it. From calorie counting to the five days on, two days off, plans. None of that appealed to me or helped. I needed a diet that had healthy recipes without the bland empty feeling I get after eating a so called meal. I needed a better plan.

One of my old friends from overseas told me about a program "Negetive Calorie Foods". It sounded like some bs but she swore it was working for her so after reading it over I thought why not, and if I didn't like it I could always get the refund.

Now we all know that there is no such thing as no calorie foods, but I like the state of mind it implies. That with eating these foods and dishes, your body is getting what it needs without all of the empty calories. It just makes me feel healthy saying it! Negative calorie foods! Anyways, I don't need to promote it, but I would like to give a good review of it.

I bought the ebook and started about a month ago and before you ask, No this is not some miracle diet or crazy health plan. It's more of a healthy lifestyle that they've written in a easy to follow plan. The meals actually taste good and are tailored to fit your life. Nothing is easy, but the program is made in a way that doesn't feel so cut and paste as the other healthy diet plans.

It includes three workouts that they claim will help you burn fat twice as fast if you chose to do the exercises with the diet plan. To me it seems like a decent work out for the average person (don't get me wrong I'm still below average in my workout plan) but I like to build up my own work out routines, so I haven't really been using theirs. Although to get back in shape for someone that has never had their own workout regimen it seems like a good start.

It also includes hypnosis mp3's that you can put onto cd's or your ipod and listen to when you go to sleep. For all I know maybe thats why it's working for me, but I don't know enough about suggestive hypnosis to say if it will work for everyone. a little side story, I have a friend named Brian that went for hypnosis to quit smoking and after a few sessions he has been smoke free for about two years now, no cravings, no patch, just smoke free. So hypnosis must work. How it works I have no clue.

I seemed to of rambled for a minute so let me get back to what I was saying. I bought the ebook about a month ago and it has given me the knowledge and strength to lose this extra weight. Every sunday I sit down and figure out a recipe and meal plan for the week, including daily snacks. I'm getting into a natural routine and my healthy choices are slowly becoming a healthy habit. I'll admit I've fell off the wagon a few times, but I just brush it off and get back on. As Of now I'm avoiding the scale as the program said so I'm not trying to be concerned with weight loss but body transformation and I can definitely see a difference in my face and body profile. If you have a love for eating and need to put your mind and body back into check I would recommend the "Negative Calorie" diet plan. If your just looking to lose fast weight only to gain it back again, then there are plenty of pills and crazy diets to choose from.
